Golden Globes and Emmy Award winning American actress Sarah Paulson began her acting career on stage, and subsequently made her television and feature film debut in the mid 1990s. She first rose to prominence when she starred in the horror series American Gothic, while the romantic comedies What Woment Want (2000) and Down With Love (2003) were some of the actress` notable film roles in the early phase of her career. NBC`s comedy-drama series Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip marked a turning point in the actress` career, earning her the maiden Golden Globes nomination of her career in 2006.
