An Indian soap opera actress, Savita Prabhune is most popular for her roles of Aai in the soap opera Kkusum and that of Sulochana Karanjkar in Pavitra Rishta. She has also featured in several other serials like Saarrthi, Saaya and Khulta Kali Khulena. She made her movie debut in 1992 with the movie Current, and then went on to play the role of a policewoman in Fiza, Radhe`s sister-in-law in Tere Naam, Highway and Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai 2. Her 2017 venture includes the Marathi drama movie Tujha Tu Majha Mi, under the direction of Kuldip Jadhav, starring Lalit Prabhakar and Neha Mahajan in the lead roles. Her next releases include Youngraad, Savita Damodar Paranjpe, Mumbai Pune Mumbai 3 and Miss U Mister.
