Best remembered for his portrayal of Geet’s annoying boyfriend, Anshuman, in Jab We Met, Tarun Arora is an Indian model and actor. While he started his career with Bollywood, he went on to act in a handful of Tamil and Telugu language movies.

Early Life
The Assam-born Tarun Arora won the Gladrags Manhunt and Megamodel Contest in 1998, while he was still pursuing his hotel management studies in Bengaluru. After winning the pageant, Tarun took up modeling as a career and walked the ramp for several designers.

Personal Life
Tarun is married renowned actress Anjala Zaveri, who was seen in Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada language movies.

Movie Career
The model turned actor with the 1999 romantic drama Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi.., where he was seen making a special appearance. However, his first major acting role was in the 2004 romance drama, thriller Hawas, where he was cast alongside Meghna Naidu and Shawar Ali. The movie bombed at the box office and was also panned by the critics. The actor then appeared in a number of films such as Sheen, 19 Revolutions, and Ghutan, before he was signed inImtiaz Ali’s romantic comedy drama Jab We Met in 2007. In the movie, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tarun was seen portraying the character of Anshuman. It was only after this that Arora gained recognition, following which he appeared in various regional movies.

Arora made his debut in the Tamil film industry with the 2016 action-thriller Kanithan where he played the lead antagonist opposite Atharvaa and Catherine Tresa who play lead roles. Making his Telugu-language movie debut, Tarun was seen in South’s superstar Chiranjeevi’s 150th movie, the V. V. Vinayak-directed action drama Khaidi No. 150. Tarun is seen playing a negative role in the movie, which also stars Kajal Aggarwal in a lead role. His other notable works are Kaththi Sandai and Katamarayudu.
