Umesh Kamat is an Indian film actor and model, who predominantly features in Marathi films and television series, and also commercials. He is most known for his roles of Adinath Shastri from Asambhav, Nishant from Shubhamkaroti, and Adv. Om Chaudhary in Eka Lagnachi Tisari Goshta. He started his movie career in 2005 with Kaydyacha Bola, under the direction of Chandrakant Kulkarni, in which he played the role of an engineering student. After working in films like Patla Tar Ghya, Mani Mangalsutra, Dhaagedore and Parees, he was seen in director Sameer Vidwans` Time Please, which revolves around a couple who fall in love with each other after marriage. He then featured opposite Bharat Jadhav and Mrunmayee Deshpande in Pune Via Bihar, the story of a girl who elopes with her lover. Umesh was also seen alongside Spruha Joshi in A Paying Ghost in 2015, under the direction of Sushrut Bhagwat. His 2018 venture includes Ye Re Ye Re Paisa, directed by Sanjay Jadhav, in which Umesh stars opposite Siddharth Jadhav and Tejaswini Pandit. He has lent his voice in the 2018 Marathi animation Prabho Shivaji Raje directed by Nilesh Muley.
