BIOGRAPHY

Vidyasagar is an Indian music director and singer, who has worked in the Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi film industries. Since the time he was a child, Vidyasagar has underwent training for carnatic vocals and learnt to play the guitar. He served as an assistant and conductor for a while, before making his debut as a composer with the 1989 Tamil film Poo Manam. Vidyasagar went on to compose music for movies like Prema Entha Madhuram (1991), Allari Pilla (1992), Chitram Bhalare Vichitram (1992), 420 (1992), Prema Chitram Pelli Vichitram (1993), Jamba Lakidi Pamba (1993), Alibaba Aradajanu Dongalu (1994), Coimbatore Mappillai (1996), Azhakiya Ravanan (1996), Varnapakittu (1997), Krishnagudiyil Oru Pranayakalathu (1997), Summer in Bethlehem (1998), Niram (1999), Snegithiye (2000), Devadoothan (2000), Dhill (2001), Meesha Madhavan (2002), Run (2002), Anbe Sivam (2003), C.I.D. Moosa (2003), Villain (2003), Iyarkai (2003), Dhool (2003), Ghilli (2004), Hulchul (2004), Nothing But Life (2004), Chandramukhi (2005), Kayyoppu (2007), Mozhi (2007), Kaamannana Makkalu (2008), Raman Thediya Seethai (2008), Peraanmai (2009), Kaavalan (2011), Diamond Necklace (2012), Anarkali (2015) and Jomonte Suvisheshangal (2017). In 2017 Vidyasagar composed the music for Susi Ganeshan's Thiruttuppayale 2 (2017).
