One of the most popular and successful fashion designers in India, Vikram Phadnis started his career as a choreographer before eventually rising to fame in the fashion industry. Over the years, he has designed for some of the biggest names in the Bollywood fraternity and has worked in several popular films. Along the way, Vikram also won the IIFA Award for Best Costume Design in 2005.

In 2017, Vikram ventured into filmmaking with Hrudayantar, a drama starring Subodh Bhave and Mukta Barve which opened to much critical acclaim. Two years later, he made his sophomore directorial outing with the movie Smile Please (2019), which featured Mukta Barve, Lalit Prabhakar, Aditi Govitrikar and Prasad Oak in pivotal roles.
