About the movie
In Cholo Paltai, Prosenjit plays a low grade employee of a corporation. Like every father in spite of poverty, he dreams of giving his children a good future with good education. He sells milk, washes car and does every possible thing to fulfill his dream. But his son isn`t that keen on studying and dreams of becoming a cricketer. He starts scoring poor marks and here begins the father-son conflict. During one such disagreement, the father hits his son and the child slips into coma. This incident drastically changes the thoughts and views of the father. He realizes his mistakes and decides to fight against the education system. Mouli Ganguly and Prosenjit share a beautiful bond of friendship because even Mouli goes the hard way to earn money for her child who studies in Darjeeling.
