Doob - No Bed of Roses
About the movie
Film director Javed Hasan has a midlife crisis, which makes him question his marriage and his career. He starts an affair with Nitu, his daughter Saberi's childhood friend. Hasan's family is torn apart when his tryst with Nitu becomes public knowledge. He divorces his wife to marry Nitu and is alienated from his kids, only to realize that it won't be a bed of roses as he expected. Meanwhile, Saberi is helping her mother to explore her new found independence, cope with circumstances and find strength in desperation.
