Mr. Sawant is a retired teacher who is looked up to by society even after his retirement. He was known not only for his proficiency also for his social work. Because of these very qualities, people continued to seek his advice even after his retirement.
Not only is he a well respected teacher but is also a supportive husband and father. His daughter, Akshata is very studious and wished to pursue her higher studies but was denied admission to city colleges. Then something happened which took its toll on Mr.Sawant.
The film stars popular actors like Jackie Shroff, Aditya Pancholi and even Urmila Matondkar. This film has been directed by Amar Gupte, produced by Nitesh Waghmare and Santosh Muley has composed the film`s music, some of the film`s playback singers include renowned artists like Sunidhi Chauhan, Shankar Mahadevan and Adnan Sami. The film has been shot by Kedar Gaikwad.
