SYNOPSIS
Girls have dreams - dreams of a fairytale romance and of prince charming sweeping them off their feet. Mitali, a successful model, also had dreams... Then one day she met Karan, the Mittal scion, the heir to one of the richest families in the country. Mitali`s simple, middle class upbringing is in complete contrast to Karan`s super brat lifestyle. (Mitali) is the middle-class gal who doesn`t hesitate to flaunt her body on the ramp but turns coy and virtuous the minute she steps off it. In this scenario enters Rohit Roy (Karan Mittal) who tries to charm her from their first meeting. Rituparna is confused but she succumbs to Rohit`s charms. She`s convinced she`s met the man of her dreams then wakes up in a stupor. But the first half of the film isn`t simply a bad dream for Rituparna. It`s a nightmare for the audience as well. Its a room full of disturbed wives. A woman lawyer (Suchitra Krishnamoorthi) takes class. Each battered hen is meant to spell out her problems. One of them cant make hers public. She whispers instead into a volunteers ears, which is kind of pointless, given the volunteer announces to everyone thereafter: The husband sodomises her; uses instruments; even urinates in her mouth.
