Directed by the Hyderabad-based Mani Shankar, the film is a political thriller Knock Out is about the siphoning and laundering of trillions of dollars from India and being placed in unknown locations the world over. The expos promises to blow the lid off many international financial scandals in which India has been involved. The film is set in real time (11 am to 1 pm) and is said to be inspired by Phone Booth.
