About the movie
Director Harnarayanan brings before us the issues and problems in the life of two girls, caused due to a secret love affair. Lakshmi (Vidya) and Parvathy (Bhama) were born and brought up in an Agraharam. Parvathy lost her mother in her childhood and was brought up by Lakshmi`s mother. Parvathy falls in love with a music teacher Devanath (Vineeth). When Devananth`s grandfather reaches Agraharam to ask for Parvathy`s hand in marriage with Devananth, Laksmi`s mother cunningly twists it around to arrange her daughter`s marriage instead. Parvathy leaves Agraharan and encounters Lakshmi years later.
