Hayden Panettiere is an American model, actress, singer, and activist, who is most prominent for her roles of a cheerleader Claire Bennet in the sci-fi series Heroes (2006-10), and Juliette Barnes in the ABC/CMT musical drama series Nashville (2012-present). She has received multiple nominations and awards in her acting career as a young and upcoming star. Panettiere landed her first commercial when she was 11 months old for Playskool toy train. Her notable movie appearances include Remember the Titans (2000), Bring It On: All or Nothing (2006), and Scream 4 (2011).

Early life
Panettiere was born and raised in Palisades and is a native of the New York City. Her mother Lesley R. Vogel, is a former soap opera actress and her father Alan Lee "Skip" Panettiere, is a fire captain. She is the elder sister of actor Jansen Panettiere. She is of Italian, English and German ancestry. Panettiere attended South Orangetown Middle School in New York, and then was homeschooled from ninth grade till she completed high school. Her mother got her to audition for a role when she was 8 months old and she soon featured in the Playskool toy train Ad.

Personal Life
Panettiere dated Milo Ventimiglia from 2007 to 2009. She then met heavyweight world champion boxer Wladimir Klitschko and got engaged to him in October 2013, with whom she has a daughter named Kaya, born in 2014. In 2015, after giving birth to her daughter, the actress suffered from post-partum depression and checked in voluntarily into a facility for treatment.

Movie Career
As an actor
Panettiere started her movie career in 1998 with The Object of My Affection, in which she played the role of a Mermaid. In the same year, she had a voice role for the character of Dot, the younger sister of the princess in A Bug`s Life. She then worked in Remember the Titans (2000) with Denzel Washington, followed by Joe Somebody (2001) with Tim Allen. She won the Young Artist Award for the Best Performance in a Feature Film - Supporting Young Actress for her performance in Remember the Titans. She was also nominated for the same award for her films Joe Somebody and Tiger Cruise. She also voiced for the character of Aladar`s adoptive sister Suri in Dinosaur (2000).

In 2005, she starred in Racing Stripes, a sports comedy-drama animated movie, in which Panettiere was cast as a human. After featuring in movies like Bring It On: All or Nothing (2006), Shanghai Kiss (2007), and Fireflies in the Garden (2008), her next notable role came with the 2009 romantic comedy I Love You, Beth Cooper, in which she played the protagonist Beth Cooper, the head cheerleader whom Paul Rust`s character has a huge crush on. After appearing as herself in the 2009 movie The Cove, the actress returned to voice acting with the 2010 animated film Alpha & Omega, for the character of Kate.

In the next year 2011, Panettiere appeared in Scream 4, fourth and final installment in the Scream series, in which she played the role of Kirby Reed. Panettiere ventured into the television industry with the soap opera One Life to Live, in which she was cast in a significant role of Sarah Roberts. In her first series itself, the actress appeared for as long as 25 episodes. Post this, she made single episode appearances in series like Aliens in the Family, Unhappily Ever After, Touched by an Angel, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She also gained popularity for her role of Lizzie Spaulding in the soap opera Guiding Light. In 2003, she joined Jessica Lange, Tom Wilkinson and Clancy Brown in Jane Anderson`s Normal (2003), a television film about a Midwestern husband and father who announces his plans to have a sex-change operation. The actress` television breakthrough came with a lead role in Heroes, a 2006 television series, in which she played Claire Bennet, a high school cheerleader with special super powers. Along with being a successful actress, Panettiere is also a professional playback singer who has rendered songs in several movies, singles, and albums. For the 2004 movie Tiger Cruise, she recorded the song titled My Hero Is You, along with a video. She then performed a duet with Watt White titled Someone Like You for the movie The Dust Factory, and starred in the video too. In 2005, she recorded the song I Fly for the Disney film Ice Princess. She has recorded a huge number of songs, of which the most popular ones include Consider Me, Love Like Mine, Everything I`ll Ever Need, and One Place Too Long. Her most notable albums include Falling Down, The Music of Nashville: Season 1 Volume 1, The Music of Nashville: Season 1 Volume 2 and The Music of Nashville: Season 4, Volume 1. In 2007, she recorded a song for the Hollywood Records compilation Girl Next (2006) and "Go to Girl" for Girl Next 2 (2007). In the same year 2007, she recorded a cover for "Cruella De Vil" for DisneyMania 5, "Try" for the Bridge to Terabithia soundtrack and "I Still Believe" for Cinderella III: A Twist in Time. Her first single, "Wake Up Call", was digitally released on August 5, 2008, for Candies, a clothing brand. They premiered the ad campaign featuring Panettiere in the same year. Panettiere has been part of several video games. In 2002, voiced for the video game The Mark of Kri. Her notable work includes Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts II, and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, in all of which she voiced for Kairi. Apart from these, her other ventures include the video games Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance for the character of Xion in 2012 and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue in 2017.
