Barun Chanda is an Indian film actor who works mainly in the Bengali film industry. He is best known for playing the lead in Satyajit Ray`s Seemabaddha. Notable film credits also include Hirer Angti (1992), Antaheen (2009), Hemlock Society (2012), the Bollywood period drama Lootera (2013) and Chotushkone (2014). Besides acting, Barun has also authored a book titled Coke. In 2018, he appeared alongside Jisshu Sengupta and Rudranil Ghosh in Sritit Mukherji`s Bengali drama Ek Je Chhilo Raja. His 2019 release includes Kolkatay Kohinoor.
