Jessica Biel is an American actress born as Jessica Claire Biel on March 3, 1982, who began her career by playing vocalist in musical productions. Her first break came in the form of a family-drama series 7th Heaven where she was cast as Mary Camden. For her role in Ulee`s Gold (1997), she won the Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a Feature Film as a Supporting Young Actress, in 1997. She has starred in several commercially hit movies like The Rules of Attraction (2002), Blade: Trinity (2004), Stealth (2005), I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry (2007), The A-Team (2010) and Total Recall (2012).

Early Life
She was born to Kimberley a spiritual healer and Jonathan Biel, a business consultant and General Electric worker. Born in Ely, Minnesota, she attended Fairview High School where she played soccer while growing up. She`s also trained as a gymnast. She attended Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts from 2000 to 2002. She appeared as a print model for products such as Dulux Paint and Pringles.

Personal Life
Biel started dating singer and actor Justin Timberlake in January 2007. They got engaged in December 2011, and married on October 19, 2012, at the Borgo Egnazia resort in Fasano, Italy. They have one son named, Silas Randall Timberlake.

Movie Career
In 1994, at the age of 13, she played Regrettal, a lead role in her debut movie titled, It`s a Digital World. It was produced and directed by Paul Greenberg. Her first feature film was alongside Jane Fonda titled Ulee`s Gold where she played Fonda`s granddaughter, she was 15 at that time. It was released in 1997 and the 19th Youth in Film Awards fetched her Young Artist Award for Best Supporting Young Actress.

In 2002, she starred as a promiscuous college student, Lara, in the film The Rules of Attraction, an adaptation of the Bret Easton Ellis` novel. The movie though received mixed reviews, became a box office hit, and has since gained a cult following.

After gaining attention from the mainstream audience, Biel starred in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, an American slasher film released in 2003. This was her first top-billing role however, the movie received mostly negative reviews. In spite of this fact, it became one of the best movies of the year, earning more than $80 million in the U.S alone. The movie made Biel a commercially viable actor. She next began working on the third instalment of the Blade series, Blade: Trinity which again received negative reviews, but went on to gross around $150 million worldwide and become a huge box office hit.

From 2003 to 2012, Biel starred in several commercially successful movies like the period piece titled The Illusionist, alongside Edward Norton and Paul Giamatti. The critiques praised her restrained acting with James Berardinelli of Reelviews stating her to be the "film`s real acting revelation." In 2007, she appeared in, I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, co-starring Adam Sandler and Kevin James. In the same year, Stuff magazine called her No. 1 on their "100 Sexiest Women" list.

In 2010, she played Capt. Charissa Sosa in A-Team, based on the television series of the same name. Her other release of the same year includes Valentine`s Day. In 2013, she starred in Total Recall along with Colin Farell a sci-fi action movie where Biel played Melina, love interest of Colin Farell`s character Quaid / Hauser, and a member of Resistance group. From 2013 onwards, Biel concentrated more on independent movies and took up roles in movies such as Bleeding Heart (2015), where she plays May a yoga instructor who meets her biological sister working as a sex worker for the first time. The film was premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and Biel`s performance was lauded by critiques, where Clayton Davis of AwardsCircuit.com said, "With an internalized and very subtle performance, Biel excels in her ability to find the very motivation of May." Her 2016 releases include the movie The Book of Love and A Kind of Murder.

Television Career
When Biel turned 14, she auditioned for several television pilots and was selected to play Mary Camden in the family drama7th heaven. In 2005, she lent her voice to Brooke in Family Guy in the episode, "Brian the Bachelor". In 2009, she played Jessica Rabbit in Saturday Night Live in the special episode "Dwayne Johnson/Ray LaMontagne". In 2014, she played Kat in the episode of "The Last Wedding" and in 2016, she voiced as herself in the episode, "The BoJack Horseman Show". She then produced and acted in the TV Series The Sinner (2017-present). She also featured in and bankrolled Limetown (2019).
