Starting his career with the Marathi thriller Checkmate, Sanjay Jadhav is an Indian cinematographer, actor and director, who predominantly works in the Hindi and Marathi film industry. He followed it up with the hit Ringa Ringa in 2010. Sanjay then went on to direct Fakta Ladh Mhana (2011), about a village in which farmers are forced to commit suicide because of the corrupt ministers. In 2013 Sanjay directed Duniyadari, which is one of the highest grossing Marathi movies of all time. He next worked with Swwapnil Joshi and Sai Tamhankar in the film, Pyaar Vali Love Story (2014). In 2015 Sanjay directed Swwapnil Joshi, Sai Tamhankar and Tejaswini Pandit in the romantic drama, Tu Hi Re. He also directed the 2016 actioner, Guru, with Ankush Choudhary and Urmila Kanitkar in the lead roles.

Apart from directing movies, Sanjay is also a popular cinematographer in the industry. He has worked on several Marathi and Hindi films like Saatchya Aat Gharat (2004), Dombivali Fast (2005), Evano Oruvan (2007), Checkmate (2008), C Kkompany (2008), Khichdi: The Movie (2010), Fakt Ladh Mhana (2011), and Pyaar Vali Love Story (2014). As a producer, Sanjay made serials such as Dil Dosti Duniyadari (2015-2016) which aired on Zee Marathi, Duheri (2016- ) on Star Pravah and Freshers (2016-2017) on Zee Yuva. In 2018 Sanjay made his acting debut as a hostel warden with director Ajay Naik`s college drama, Hostel Days (2018). Apart from Sanjay, the coming-of-age comedy-drama, has Aaroh Velankar, Aishwarya Kapare, Prarthana Behere, Chinmay Patwardhan and Ankita Lande in important roles and Lagna Mubarak. His 2019 release includes Khari Biscuit, directed by Sanjay S Jadhav.
