About the movie
Nandita Das` directorial debut focuses on those affected by the 2002 Gujrat riots and how distrust has seeped into the lives of both communities. The story shows how a young Hindu couple, an elderly Muslim and a Hindu-Muslim couple cope with life in the aftermath, and how a young refugee embarks on a new journey towards hope, if he can find it.
