About the movie
Ghar Ki Izzat is a Hindi drama film, released in the year 1948. The story revolves around a rich man, Chandrawho gets married to a poor woman, Roopa. Chandra’s mother ill-treats his wife leading to a miserable environment in family. Later, Chandra becomes habitual of drinking and leaves his home as his wife always taunted his mother. The film is directed and produced by Ram Daryani. The movie features Dilip Kumar and Mumtaz Shanti.
