About the movie
In the ritual-heavy village of Methanam, priest Appu warns Rajan against cutting down a sacred Pala tree, but Rajan ignores him and dies three days later. When Appu predicts that five more family members will die within 16 days, panic spreads through the household. Rajans skeptical son dismisses the prophecy as a hoax, leading to a series of unexpected and comic attempts to escape the supposed curse.
