About the movie
After giving the blockbuster `Suriyan` with Sarath Kumar and Roja in the lead, director Pavithran is back into the industry. Pavithran was working in a place in Madhurai called `Mattuthavani` for his comeback venture, `Mattuthavani`. `Mattuthavani` is a rustic story that revolves around the local bus stop of that area. It talks about the story of a poor guy who stays in that bus stop and works to study. What happens when this guy falls in love with a rich girl is `Mattuthavani` all about. Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu Soori and Pasanga Vimal are acting in this one in important roles.
