Hareendra Singh runs a dhaba at Mallu Street in Punjab. Ani is a commoner from Kerala who has a younger brother who ran away from home a couple of years ago following a local problem. Accidentally, Ani happens to see Hareendra Singh in a television programme. Believing that this is his lost brother, Ani sets out on a journey to Punjab to find the truth.
Hari (Unni Mukundan) has been missing for more than seven years and Ani (Kunchacko Boban) wanted to find him. Hari was Ani`s friend from childhood; besides Ani`s little sister Ashwathi`s (Samvrutha Sunil) wedding was almost finalized with Hari, her cousin. So Ani sets forth to Punjab with great expectations of finding Hari. He was not sure why Hari had to disappear especially when you know the depth of his love to Ashwathi. But on reaching ``Mallustreet`` which even house a Malayalam school and almost every one communicating in the language, Ani finds to his surprise that his Hari is Harinder Singh here, who is much different from the person whom he know. But Ani follows his instincts, befriend Pappan(Manoj K Jayan) and Karthi(Biju Menon), and find ways to crack the situation. How can a movie which comes with the title of the leading protagonist of the story excel when the actor who plays that role gives a below average performance?. Director Vysakhs third outing with script writer Sethu (of the duo Sachi-Sethu) is a disappointing one. The plot had a different feel, but rendring it with the cliche style of typical malayalam entertainers makes this movie an ordinary one.
