About the movie
Marudhamalai (Arjun) is a tough cop who is posted in Nachiapuram. Maasi (Lal), the `boss` of the city, has been successful in inhibiting elections for 16 years. The election commissioner challenges him to stop him from holding elections in the area. Thus begins the emancipation of the the people of the village and the battle against Maasi.
