About the movie
Gagan (Uttam Kumar)mand Chitra (Sumitra Mukherjee) are married.
Savitri (Moushumi Chatterjee) escapes from her uncle who sells her and takes shelter in Gagan`s house.
Now, Chitra takes Savitri to her grandfather`s place and grooms her.
Gagan comes up with the proposal of an alliance between Savitri and Chitra`s brother, Abalakanta (Santosh Dutta).
But she refuses the proposal.
