About the movie
Ganga Ki Lahren is a Hindi drama film, released in the year 1964. The storyline of the film revolves around a young man, Ashok who belongs to a reputed family. He marries a girl Seema belonging to a poor family, against wish of his father. The story takes a turn when the couple comes to know about Ashok suffering from an eyes disease. Seems contacts her father-in-law seeking help. He agrees to help in exchange of Seema leaving Ashok. She agrees and commits a failed suicide attempt but loses her memory. The story continues to showcase how the couple reunites again crossing all the hurdles.
