About the movie
Sukhmani is the story of Major Kuldeep Singh who is an officer in the Para Batallion. As fate would have it he loses his wife and daughter to a terrorist attack in Jammu & Kashmir. Traumatised by the loss he decides to continue with his duty in order to remain sane.
He returns to fighting for his country with a new drive induced by the desire to avenge his family. When he meets Reshma, a woman rejected by society, he makes it his mission to protect her.
The movie revolves around the theme that sometimes we have to make choices that are always accepted by society whether we like it or not.
