SYNOPSIS
Punjab 1984 is the story of a mother and her missing son, set in the backdrop of 1984 Punjab, when the state was plagued by terrorism. The film depicts the longing of a mother for her son and her search for her son, who is labelled a terrorist. It shows how he eventually fights for his rights, while longing to return home because of his love for his mother. It also tells us more about the time, which was very sensitive for the youth of Punjab. The film is dedicated to the thousands of mothers who lost their sons to these riots.
