About the movie
Joseph (Rishi) is an orphan who lives an ordinary life. To earn a living he becomes the driver of a successful actress (Locket Chatterjee) and sings in his spare time. He falls in love with a blind girl (Shreya) who needs 5 lakhs to treat her eyes. Pretending to be a rich man, Joseph gives the girl's mother the money, but actually plans the kidnapping of the actress to procure the money. Tomar Jonyo is directed by Nilanjan Banerjee and also features Kanchan Mallick and Soumitra Chatterjee.
