About the movie
Bhanu Prasad (Venkatesh) is the son of the most respected man in the village, Harischandra Prasad. However, he is incapable of doing anything and a considered a black mark by his father. He falls in love with his childhood sweetheart Madhavi (Sanghavi) who attempts suicide to not marry him. He therefore breaks the alliance and earns the wrath of his father.
Years later at her brother`s wedding, Swapna (Meena) comes to know about Bhanu and his love story.
She falls in love with him and they get married, agonizing both their parents.
The rest is how they lead on with their life and how Swapna`s love and trust in Bhanu helps him earn accolades and a respectable position.
