Vedam is the first multistarrer of modern Telugu cinema. It revolves around five main characters. Allu Arjun portrays the role of a lower income class boy who works as a cable operator and goes by the name Cable Raju. In stark contrast is Vivek Chakravarthy (Manoj Manchu), a budding Rock star. Adding some spice to the mix is Anushka as Saroja, the prostitute. The talented Manoj Bajpai accompanies them as well.
