A hidden loot of 500 million rupees sends a bunch of eccentric folks on a madcap misadventure, where they all vie to get their hands on the money. Thankfully, director Indra Kumar has taken recourse to slapstick rather than double entendre jokes, risque scenes, as well as toilet humour and that`s a good thing. I want to say here that Im not against comedies that require complete suspension of disbelief. But even that requires thought, clever writing, and a lightness of touch. Total Dhamaal has none of those things. Its a cash-grab film that believes bigger is better. Alas its not.
