Bonnie Wright is famous for her role as Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter movies based on books written by the British author
J. K. Rowling. She studied films at London College of Communication and debuted as a director and screenwriter with the movie Separate We Come, Separate We Go (2012) which premiered in Cannes Film Festival short film corner and screened at the BAFTA Graduate.
Early Life
Wright was born to Sheila Teague and Gary Wright who are jewelers by profession. Lewis Wright is her older brother. In 2012 Wright graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from London College of Communication. The actress is affiliated with Next Model's Agency. In 2011, she was featured in a fashion spread for a magazine called How to Spend it. She has also walked the ramp for a few designers, which includes London Fashion Week.

Jamie Campbell Bower and was engaged to him till 30th June 2012 when they amicably parted ways. She is currently dating Simon Hammerstein who owns a night club.
TV Career
She played the role of young Sarah Robinson in Stranded in 2002 and young Agatha in Agatha Christie: A Life in Pictures in 2004, both TV movies.
Theatre Career
In 2013 Wright made her theater debut with the role of The Girl in Peter Ustinov's The Moment of Truth and received positive reviews for her role and the British Theatre Guide reviewed her performance by writing, "Bonnie Wright makes clear in her performance, she is motivated by love for her father and movingly has to face rejection from her gas-masked lover when he returns as liberator."

Wright appeared in the first movie in the Harry Potter series,
Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2001) but had a more prominent role in the second film,
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002). Her character in the third film in the series,
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) had less screen time, however, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, (2005) fourth in the series, saw her playing a significant part. Wright became the central character in the last four movies;

After the success of the Harry Potter series, the first film that she appeared in was The Sea (2013), a British-Irish drama directed by Stephen Brown. She essayed the role of Phoebe, a young nursemaid, opposite her Harry Potter co-star Ciarán Hinds The movie premeired at the Edinburgh Film Festival in June 2013, receiving mixed reviews.In the same year, Wright starred in Before I Sleep (2013) which was premiered at Heartland Film Festival.
