Early LifeMargot Elise Robbie was born on 2 July 1990 and raised in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. She grew up with two brothers named Lachlan and Cameron, and a sister named Anya, all of whom were raised by their single mother Sarie Kesser. When she was merely 16 years old, Margot Robbie worked several jobs whilst studying drama at Somerset College. A year later, she moved to Melbourne to pursue her acting career.
Personal LifeMargot Robbie and British film director Tom Ackerley began dating in 2014 and after two years later, the duo tied the knot on December 18, 2016. They reportedly met on the sets of Suite Francaise and started seeing each other shortly after.
Movie CareerIn the year 2007, Margot Robbie began acting professionally and was a part of several independent films in Australia like I.C.U. and Vigilante. After playing minor roles in TV shows like The Elephant Princess and City Homicide, the actress landed the role of Donna Freedman on the popular soap opera Neighbours. Although initially signed on for just a couple of episodes, Robbie was boosted to a regular cast member and was seen on the show from 2008 till 2011.
