Yash Dasgupta is a popular Indian actor and model who started his career in the entertainment business as a TV actor before eventually moving to work in films. The winner of Glam King title in the Unish Kuri Streax Glam Hunt in Kolkata he was listed among the Top 10 most desirable men in Calcutta Times. The actor who started his career with the popular TV series Koi Aane Ko Hai (2009) and is maiden film appearance was Gangster (2016).
Early Life Born in Kolkata, Yash Dasgupta is the son of Dipak Dasgupta and Jayati Dasgupta. The actor, because of his parent`s transferable work has travelled across several places in India during his childhood and has lived in Delhi, and Mumbai and therefore has attended different schools. He completed his graduation from Madhya Pradesh. It was during his college days that the actor got interested in acting and after shifting his base to Mumbai he attended acting workshop at Roshan Taneja`s acting school, which eventually paved his way to finding work in the Hindi serial industry.
TV Career The actor made his acting debut with Koi Aane Ko Hai (2009) a horror series, which was telecast on Colors TV. He subsequently appeared in series like Basera (2009), Na Aana Is Des Laado (2010), Adaalat (2012) before eventually gaining wide fame and recognition with Bojhena Se Bojhena (2013-16) where he played the role of Aranya Singha Roy. For his brilliant role in the series, Yash won five Star Jalsha Awards and three Tele Sammaan Awards.
Movie Career After establishing a successful career in the TV industry, the actor made his debut on the silver screen with
Gangster, a Bengali language romantic thriller directed by Birsa Dasgupta.
