A prominent figure in the Bengali film industry, Anupam Roy is an Indian lyricist, music composer and singer who hails from Kolkata, West Bengal. Anupam who rose to fame with his song `Amake Amar Moto Thake Dao` in the Bengali film Autograph (2010), made his debut in Bollywood with the Amitabh Bachchan starrer film Piku in 2015. His 2017 release includes Black Coffee, Posto and Running Shaadi. His 2018 releases, as a composer, include the Hindi movies Pari and October as well as the Bengali movies like Ghare & Baire, Uma and Ek Je Chilo Raja.

Apart from composing music, Anupam Roy has also acting Bengali film; he made his acting debut with Jaatishwar in 2014 and subsequently appeared in films like Praktan (2016), Debi (2018). His 2019 projects include Shah Jahan Regency, Barof, Badla, Konttho, Bhootchakro Private Limited, Bornoporichoy, Buro Sadhu and Sanjhbati. His 2020 release includes Dwitiyo Purush.
