Early LifeCara Jocelyn Delevingne was born on the 12th of August, 1992 in Hammersmith, London to Pandora Anne Delevingne and property developer Charles Hamar Delevingne. She has two older sisters, Chloe Delevingne and model Poppy Delevingne. Delevingne attended the Francis Holland School for Girls in Central London. During her schooling, she was detected to be suffering from dyspraxia, a chronic neurotic disorder found mainly in children. Suffering from the developmental disorder made school extremely difficult for her and drove the teenager into depression. Upon completing her GCSE examinations at the age of 16, she moved to Bedales School in Hampshire where she focused on drama and music. The following year, she dropped out of school and chose to model alongside her sister Poppy.

Acting CareerThe supermodel walked the ramp for high-end brands before making her acting debut in 2012 with the movie Anna Karenina where she played the minor role of Princess Sorokina, and was cast alongside Keira Knightley. She then played the role of Melanie in British psychological thriller The Face of an Angel in 2014. Although the film received mixed reviews, Delevingne’s performance was well-received by critics. The same year, she made her television debut when she appeared in the last episode of Playhouse Presents’ final season where she played the role of Chloe.
