Cara Delevingne is an English model and actress who has walked the ramp for various renowned international brands, and was awarded the Model of the Year at the British Fashion Awards for 2012 and 2014. She made her acting debut with a minor role in the movie adaptation of Anna Karenina in 2012.

Early Life
Cara Jocelyn Delevingne was born on the 12th of August, 1992 in Hammersmith, London to Pandora Anne Delevingne and property developer Charles Hamar Delevingne. She has two older sisters, Chloe Delevingne and model Poppy Delevingne. Delevingne attended the Francis Holland School for Girls in Central London. During her schooling, she was detected to be suffering from dyspraxia, a chronic neurotic disorder found mainly in children. Suffering from the developmental disorder made school extremely difficult for her and drove the teenager into depression. Upon completing her GCSE examinations at the age of 16, she moved to Bedales School in Hampshire where she focused on drama and music. The following year, she dropped out of school and chose to model alongside her sister Poppy.

Personal Life
The actor is openly bisexual and came out very early on in her career. She was rumored to be dating or having casual flings with various celebrities like Harry Styles, Jay Electronica, Sienna Miller, and Miley Cyrus, but she was dating English up and coming musician, singer and songwriter Jake Bugg in 2012. After splitting with him, she started dating the Fast & Furious 6 star Michelle Rodriguez in 2014, however, their relationship only lasted for a few months. She was reportedly having a fling with actor Jack O’Connell in 2014. Delevingne has been a serious relationship with American singer and songwriter Annie Clark, better known by her stage name St. Vincent, since December 2014. She also feels that being in love with her girlfriend has made her a better person and a better actor.

Acting Career
The supermodel walked the ramp for high-end brands before making her acting debut in 2012 with the movie Anna Karenina where she played the minor role of Princess Sorokina, and was cast alongside Keira Knightley. She then played the role of Melanie in British psychological thriller The Face of an Angel in 2014. Although the film received mixed reviews, Delevingne’s performance was well-received by critics. The same year, she made her television debut when she appeared in the last episode of Playhouse Presents’ final season where she played the role of Chloe. In 2015, the actor was seen portraying the role of Margo Roth in Paper Towns, adaptation of John Green’s novel with the same name, co-starring Nat Wolff. The movie ranked six at the US box office in its opening weekend. The movie opened to positive reviews with critics stating that Delevingne is here to stay.

She was next seen in fantasy film Pan co-starring Hugh Jackman, Amanda Seyfried, and Rooney Mara in 2015, where she played the role of a mermaid. However, the movie failed both critically and commercially, and struggled to recover the money spent on making the movie. The same year, she featured in the music video of ASAP Ferg’s song Dope Walk, and also in Taylor Swift’s record-breaking music video Bad Blood. After an unsuccessful movie, Delevingne was seen in the 2016 supervillain movie Suicide Squad, based on the DC comic book series, where she played the role of Enchantress, a villainess with magical superpowers. The movie was battered by the critics but Delevingne’s performance was lauded and well-received. The movie also featured Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, Will Smith, and Joel Kinnaman.
