Divyendu Sharma was born and raised in Delhi and is a political science graduate. He was a part of the theatre scene in Delhi for three years and then went on to pursue a 2 year diploma in acting at the prestigious Film and Television Institute of India. He has featured in commercials like Fidelity Mutual Funds, Virgin Mobiles and Birla Sun Life Insurance, to name a few. Divyendu made his film debut with the comedy, Pyaar Ka Punchnama (2011) in which his performance, won mass appreciation and a Screen Award for Most Promising Newcomer. He was then seen in David Dhawan`s Chasme Baddoor (2013). Divyenduwas last seen in Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami (2014) and will soon be seen in Dilliwaali Zaalim Girlfirend (2015) and El`ayichi (2015). His 2017 release includes Toilet - Ek Prem Katha and 2016 The End. His 2018 release includes Batti Gul Meter Chalu, directed by Shree Narayan Singh.
