About the movie
`Chak Jawana` highlights the problems faced by youth in a Punjabi village. The young men fall prey to drugs, become irresponsible and disturb the peace. The elders despair about the future of the community. Captain Gurjeet Singh (Gurdas Maan) arrives on a month`s home leave from the Indian Navy. He pledges to reform the youth and helps them overcome their weakness. The film has a powerful message on family values, determination and hope.
