SYNOPSIS
Matt Damon returns to his most iconic role in Jason Bourne. Paul Greengrass, the director of The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum, once again joins Damon for the next chapter of Universal Pictures` Bourne franchise, which finds the CIA`s most lethal former operative drawn out of the shadows.
For Jason Bourne, Damon is joined by Alicia Vikander, Vincent Cassel and Tommy Lee Jones, while Julia Stiles reprises her role in the series. Frank Marshall again produces alongside Jeffrey Weiner for Captivate Entertainment, and Greengrass, Damon, Gregory Goodman and Ben Smith also produce. Based on characters created by Robert Ludlum, the film is written by Greengrass and Christopher Rouse.

Amid such visceral spectacle, Damon injects a much needed air of humanity. His speech may be sparse, but his body is expressively talkative, conveying violence, pathos and even tragedy in surprisingly precise fashion. After the joyous monologuing of The Martian, Damon proves that he can keep an audience onside while keeping his lip buttoned. No wonder we keep coming back for more. ...Read full review
With Jason Bourne, Matt Damon reprises his most celebrated screen character for the fourth time after a gap of nine years! It also sees Matt Damon return to the role of the once-amnesiac assassin nine years after he ditched the franchise. But although its competently plotted and niftily executed by Bourne Supremacy and Ultimatum director Paul Greengrass theres an unmistakable feeling of familiarity about it all. ...Read full review
Greengrass is a technically dazzling director he stages long action sequences with virtuosity. Theres also a stellar ensemble cast Tommy Lee Jones, Alicia Vikander and Riz Ahmed. But ultimately Jason Bourne doesnt get your adrenalin pumping because its relentlessly grim and claustrophobic. I dont need popcorn thrillers to be sunny but a little air and levity would go a long way. Im going with two and a half stars. ...Read full review
