About the movie
Simbhu shares his name with two other people -a villain and a cop-turned-baddie and the situations arising out of it promise enough curiosity for a while as soon as the movie opens. Simbhus grandmother Seema who the villagers worship for her noble acts from the time she returned from prison. However, trouble crops up when police officer Lals ego is hurt when challenged by the fellow policemans son that he cant find anything illicit in Simbhus village, ruled by the godmother Seema. He returns with a vengeance and in the dirty war, burns Seema alive. Enough reason for Simbhu to seek retribution for his loss. Simbhu returns to Chennai, uses the tried and tested formula to woo Lals daughter Vedhika, and after a couple of duets abducts her as a hostage on revenge of his grand moms death.
