About the movie
Mammootty is David John Kottarathil, a rich unrestrained planter, known popularly by the fancy name D K. He always enjoys life and roams around, getting drunk with his friends. He is the caretaker and secretary of the Cosmo Club. His father, John, accidentally kills Eappachayan,the father of Sara Eapen who D K is supposed to marry.
The story takes a turn when Annie (Mukta) a medical student and Sara`s half sister who is taken cared of by David, is accused by the police for committing the murder of Benny, an upcoming politician and the son of political king and former Revenue Minister M C Paul (Vijayraghavan). Now David must save her and also reveal the political family leadership pattern prevalent in the state.
