About the movie
Vasudev (Nassar) is the Chief Minister for the state of Telangana and is charged for corruption under a case of disproportionate assets. Due to this, he decides to make his son, Varun (Vijay Deverakonda) the interim CM for a brief period until he proves that he is innocent. However, the court finds him guilty and sentences him to five-year imprisonment. Though Varun is initially reluctant to step into his father`s shoes, he is left with no choice. A violent incident that costs a young girl her life, makes Varun takes his job seriously.
