(Bengali: English: Tale of Three Friends) is a 2006Bengali comedy by the directorial team of Sudeshna Roy and Abhijit Guha. TheBengali musicalgroupBhoomicomposed the film`s music.[1]The film revolves around middle class friends and their personal struggles. Bilu sells newspapers, Shyamal drives anautorickshawand Antu is unemployed.
They share a room in Billu`s uncle`s house in Kolkata`ssuburbs. Each friend becomes involved with different girls; Antu secretly likes his fellow acting student, Dola, Shyamal has fallen for his boss and lanlord`s daughter Mamoni while Biloo is obsessed with Sreeradha who lives next door.
The films release was delayed by censors for six years due to its sexual themes. It premiered at the 2006Osian Film Festival[2]and was also screened at theWorld Film Festival of Bangkokand theKolkata Film Festival.
