About
An actor, director, and producer, Arbaaz Khan started his career in Bollywood with the 1996 movie, Daraar. He then went on to star in films like Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya, Hello Brother, Maine Pyaar Kyun KiyaFashion, and Dabangg, which he also produced under his banner, Arbaaz Khan Productions. The film went on to win the National Award for the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome entertainment.

Early Life
Born in Pune, Maharashtra as the second son to Salim Khan, a celebrated Bollywood writer and, Sushila Charak, Arbaaz`s step-mother is the veteran dancer Helen. He is the brother of superstar Salman Khan and actor-director Sohail Khan. Arbaaz also has two sisters-Alvira Khan Agnihotri and Arpita Khan.

Personal Life
Arbaaz Khan tied the knot with the model-turned-actress Malaika Arora Khan in 1998 after they fell in love during an ad shoot. They have a son Arhaan, born in 2002. The couple parted ways for reasons unknown and announced their separation in 2016.

Movie Career
Arbaaz Khan broke into the industry with Abbas-Mustan`s Daraar, co-starring Juhi Chawla and Rishi Kapoor. For the portrayal of a psychotic obsessive husband, Arbaaz won the Filmfare Best Villian Award. He then appeared in the 1998 movie Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kya, which was directed by his brother Sohail Khan and starred his eldest brother, Salman Khan in the lead role. The film opened to positive reviews and won Arbaaz was highly praised for his role as Kajol`s strict elder brother.

He then went on to do supporting roles in films like Hello Brother, Kuch Na Kaho, Garv: Pride and Honour, Hulchul, and Malamaal Weekly. In 2005, Arbaaz made his Telugu movie debut with Jai Chiranjeeva, which also starred Chiranjeevi and Bhoomika Chawla in lead roles. The film received an average response at the box office and failed to create much stir.

Then, after starring in movies like Fashion and Shootout At Lokhandwala, Arbaaz ventured into film production with the action film Dabangg, in which he also appeared in a supporting role. Starring Salman Khan as a corrupt but kind-hearted police officer, Chulbul Pandey, the movie went on to win several awards including the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment and six Filmfare Awards. Directed by Abhinav Kashyup, the movie was later remade in Tamil as Osthe, and in Telugu as Gabbar Singh. Next, he starred, produced and directed the sequel to Dabangg, Dabangg 2, released in 2012 and marked his debut as a director in Bollywood.

In his only release in 2016, Arbaaz starred in the sports comedy film Freaky Ali. The film, which is based on the 1996 Hollywood film Happy Gilmore starring Adam Sandler, Frances Bay and Julia Bowen was directed by Sohail Khan. The film featuring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Amy Jackson in the lead roles received average reviews and fared decently at the box-office. His 2017 release includes the action Telugu film Kittu Unnadu Jagratha starring Raj Tarun and Anu Emmanuel. His 2019 release includes Main Zaroor Aaunga and Dabangg 3.
