Hareesh Perumanna, also known as Kanaran Hareesh is an Indian comedian and actor who primarily works in the Malayalam cinema. Having started his career as a mimicry artist with a troupe named `Calicut Friends`, he subsequently toured with other groups like `Calicut Super Jokes` and `V4 Calicut`. The comedian gained recognition among the audience with his debut appearance on the small screen in the comedy reality TV show, Comedy Festival, which was aired on Mazhavil Manorama. Following his debut TV appearance, he subsequently made his debut on the silver screen with the 2014 movie Ulsaha Committee.

His other notable film credits include Salt Mango Tree (2015), Hello Namasthe (2016), King Liar (2016), Oppam (2016), Welcome to Central Jail (2016), and Gandhinagaril Unniyarcha (2017), a family comedy-drama directed by Jayesh Mainagappally. His 2018 releases include Shikkari Shambu, Street Lights, Chanakayathanthram, Mohanlal, Oru Pazhaya Bomb Kadha, Kinavalli, Thanaha and Mangalyam Thanthunanena.
