About the movie
Though the protagonist`s character is taken from Irupathaam Noothandu, the makers of the movie make it quite clear that this is not a sequel. Sagar Alias Jacky is about a dreaded don (Mohanlal) who is forced to come to India because of an impending case, where he meets old foes. Meanwhile a news reporter (Bhavana) tries to expose him but fails when she falls in love with him.
