Early Life
Hailing from Vellore, Tamil Nadu, Dinesh Ravi did his schooling from Dhanalakshmi Higher Secondary school, Washermenpet, Chennai. After graduation, he realised his penchant for acting, and started trying for projects in the film industry since 2010.
Movie CareerAttakathi Dinesh debuted in 2006 with the movie E, after which he notched minor roles in films like Aadukalam and Mouna Guru. However, owing to his exemplary acting skills he got a breakthrough in the Tamil romantic comedy film

Raju Murugan and produced by Fox Star Studios. Playing the role of a visually challenged man, he was praised for his riveting performance. In the movie, he shared a warm love story with his co-star

Tamizhuku En Ondrai Azhuthavum directed by

Aishwarya Dutta. The film was about imminent deadly bomb destruction assailing the city. The story’s social thriller keeps one on the edge of the seat and Dinesh’s role as Mukil earned positive reviews.
Subsequent to this, Dinesh was seen in
Visaranai in 2016, a docu-drama crime-thriller film, written and directed by
Vetrimaaran. It was based on the novel Lock Up by M. Chandrakumar.
