Tanikella Bharani is an Indian film actor, screenwriter, dialogue writer, poet, theater actor, playwright and director who works predominantly in the Telugu film industry. Tanikella Bharani was born in Secunderabad to TVV Setu Ramalingeswar Rao and Laxminarasamma. He is married to Durga Bhavani. He has worked in more than 750 films which include Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi films. Tanikella made his acting debut with the film Ladies Tailor (1985). Some of his most notable roles came with the films Nuvvu Nenu (2001), Ghilli (2004), Jalsa (2008), Race Gurram (2014), Gabbar Singh (2012), Baahubali: The Beginning (2015), Luckunnodu (2017), C/O Godavari (2017), Guru (2017) and Ninnu Kori (2017). He was also seen in the horror-comedy Anando Brahma in 2017, in which he played one of the lead characters opposite popular actress Taapsee Pannu, under the direction of Mahi V Raghav. His 2018 releases include Gayatri, Nela Ticket, Sammohanam, Naa Nuvve, Jamba Lakidi Pamba, Moodu Puvulu Aaru Kayalu, and Sharabha. His 2019 ventures include 2 Hours Love, Krishna Rao Supermarket, Sarovaram, and Heza directed by Munna Kasi. His 2020 releases include Pressure Cooker and Bombhaat. In 2021, he appeared in films like Bangaru Bullodu, Gaali Sampath and Jathi Ratnalu.
