SYNOPSIS
Two girls, Catherine and Aishwarya meet on a flight and become friends. They share stories about their respective boyfriends, and Catherine is shocked to find that the man she is dating is a look alike of Aishwarya`s boyfriend. Even more shocking is the fact that when she reaches home, she finds out that her boyfriend has died in a car crash.
Catherine decides to investigatethe look alike boyfriend and uncovers a thrilling mystery.

After delivering a dud in the form of Bandipotu, director Indraganti Mohana Krishna has delivered the goods with Gentleman. Starring Nani, the film has Malayalam actress Niveda Thomas making her Telugu debut, while music director Mani Sharma makes a comeback. Aishwarya (Surabhi) and Katherine (Niveda Thomas) become friends while flying back from London to India. They decide to tell each other their love stories. Katherine starts first and relates how she fell in love with Gowtham (Nani). Aishwarya, the daughter of a big businessman, then says that she is engaged to Jay (also Nani).

Credit should go to Nani for accepting such a different project when he could have continued doing these safe commercial entertainers. Full marks to Nani for allowing Nivedha Thomas take centre stage while he stays back in his character. Nanis role required a lot of composure to sustain the suspense till the end and not once does Nani goes out of frame. This clearly show his caliber as an actor

Nani strikes while the iron is hot. In a recent interview, Nani had admitted that he wouldnt be able to imagine doing something like Gentleman a decade later from now as he thinks he might be a bigger star by then, and that he might not get such opportunities to experiment then. Im not entirely sure about his statement but I do appreciate his frankness.

Nani has played an interesting role in this film. He has delivered a brilliant performance, which is the main highlight of Gentleman. Surabhi and Niveda Thomas played the female leads. Their chemistry with Nani is good. Srinivas Avasarala, Anand, Rohini, Pragathi, Tanikella Bharani, Vennela Kishore, Satyam Rajesh and Rama Prabha have also done justice to their roles. Overall Gentleman movie is a full entertainer.
