A popular name in the British TV circuit, Naomi Grace Scott is an English actress and singer who is known for playing the roles of Kimberly Hart, the Pink Ranger in the American superhero film, Power Rangers (2017) and as Mohini Banjaree in the TV film Lemonade Mouth (2011). Early Life
Born and raised in London, England, Naomi Scott is the daughter of Usha Scott, a Gujarati Indian from Uganda and Christopher Scott, a Brit national who worked as the senior pastor of the Bridge Church in Woodford, Redbridge. Scott who had a traditional Christian upbringing, encouraged by her father, participated in missionary and outreach work. The actress went to Davenant Foundation School where she was a regular performer in the school musicals.

TV Career
Naomi Scott started her acting career with the popular comedy TV series Life Bites (2008-09) where she played one of the lead roles. The series was the British adaptation of the Disney Channel`s Italy original series Life Bites. The actress got wide recognition and fame with her role as Maddy Shannon in the 2011 science fiction TV series Terra Nova. The series, co-starring Jason O`Mara, Shelley Conn, Christine Adams, Allison Miller and Landon Liboiron documents the life experiences of the Shannon family as they try to establish themselves as the members of a colony, which was set up 85 million years in the earth`s past. Her other popular TV appearances include By Any Means (2013) and Lewis (2015-16).

Movie Career
After having gained wide fame and recognition in the TV industry, Naomi Scott made her acting debut on the big screen with The 33 (2015), an English-language American-Chilean disaster film directed by Patricia Riggen. The film was based on the real events of the 2010 mining disaster where a group of 33 miners were trapped inside a mine in San Jose, Chile for over two months. It featured Antonio Banderas, Rodrigo Santoro and Juliette Bincohe in pivotal roles. Upon release in theaters, the film received average reviews and underperformed at the box office.

Later in the year, the actress played a small role in the Ridley Scott directed science fiction film The Martian. Naomi Scott has a penchant for music since her schooling days and she regularly participated in the school musical and drama productions. Later she was discovered by the British pop singer Kelle Bryan who signed Scott as a client.
